Calling all sports freaks - we need help

MIPrepZone.com, the high school sports website for The Oakland Press, The Macomb Daily, Daily Tribune, Voice Newspapers, The Morning Sun, News-Herald, Dearborn Press & Guide, Heritage Newspapers, the Grand Traverse Insider and The Leader and the Kalkaskian, is looking for part-time help as we are expanding our phone crew this spring.
We're looking for people with a passion and knowledge of high school sports who would like to help us out of our Oakland Press office in downtown Pontiac. The job would include taking phone calls from high school coaches and helping to compile high school roundups and stories. Knowledge of social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) is a bonus and we are ever expanding our product with the use of those tools.
It's a great way for anyone looking to someday be a sportswriter or broadcaster to get started. It's also a great way for anyone to make a little extra cash working in the world of high school sports.
Anyone interested or who may have questions, please contact Oakland Press sports editor Jeff Kuehn (jeff.kuehn@oakpress.com), Prep Coordinator Keith Dunlap (keith.dunlap@oakpress.com) or myself, Jason Schmitt - MIPrepZone Editor - at jason.schmitt@oakpress.com
The spring season has just begun, but it'll be over in a flash. We'd love to hear from you. We are growing and need your help!
