A different kind of all-county tennis team

You've seen my 2012 All-County Girls Tennis Team, which appeared in Sunday's Oakland Press. But I figured I would try to put together an all-county team or two (by flight) here on my blog. My teams generally feature higher singles and doubles flights, but this is a team sport.
And great teams are made up of eight great flights. So, without further adieu ...

All-County first team (by flight)
1S - Alexandria Najarian, Cranbrook
2S - Lexi Baylis, Clarkston
3S - Marina Selenica, Country Day
4S - Lauren Dietz, Marian
1D - Olivia Dunn/Dana Olsen, Clarkston
2D - Christy Snyder/Anna Hinrichs, Mercy
3D - Jackie Meier/Rachel Wilson, Seaholm
4D - Macy Hudson/Mallory Hudson, Marian

All-County second team
1S - Katie Brozovich, Clarkston
2S - Madelyn Karoub, Country Day
3S - Paige Olsen, Clarkston
4S - Jane Ziecik, Country Day
1D - Kelly Lunghamer/Olivia Underwood, Marian
2D - Paige Atkinson/Hailey Brownstein, Andover
3D - Briana Letica/Holly Meers, Cranbrook
4D - Katie Hubregsen/Monique Zentner, Clarkston

Honorable mention
1S - Mollie Fox, Lahser; Kerry Hu, Andover
2S - Labina Petrovska, Seaholm; Elaine Apaza, Marian; Kristen Law, Andover
3S - Lauren Frazier, Seaholm; Catherine Christian, Marian; Sarah Lipworth, Cranbrook
4S - Abbey Hubregsen, Clarkston; Claire Markley, Seaholm; Erin Moncrief, Notre Dame Prep; Alissa Rowens, Cranbrook
1D - Jessie Guindi/Margaux Kabodian, Mercy; Meg Phyle/Megan Simmons, Cranbrook; Kalie Collins/Tonya Malyarenko, Troy
2D - Hannah Gerard/Elia Wilson, Sacred Heart
3D - Molly Mackenzie/Bianca Emde, Marian; Alana Gutman/Jenna Yousif, Andover
4D - Lauren Lanzon/Christina Roualet, Cranbrook

My initial thought was to go with one first teamer, one second teamer and one honorable-mention selection at each flight. But when trying to find that "third" player for honorable mention - at select flights - it turned out to be impossible to pick just one, or even two. She beat her, but lost to that girl, who beat the first girl. Hence I had to go deep at a few flights (3S, 4S and 1D). In the end, this was an impressive list. And there are some state champions nowhere to be found.
